A popular and social way to workout, we offer a variety of exercise classes such as Spinning, Into-Box, Pilates, Yoga plus many more to suit all levels of fitness.
Plus your qualified instructors will keep you motivated to help you get the best from your workout.
Better still, all these classes are FREE to lifelines health club members during the hours your membership is valid for!

Booking classes can be done over the phone, in person at our main reception or online via a phone, laptop or tablet using our online booking system.
Whichever option you choose, don't delay as our classes are hugely popular and book out well in advance (however we do have last minute drop outs and on the day slots available).
To book over the phone, call us on Tel: 01582 418873 (option 1). Members can book at reception or over the phone without paying there and then. Non-members will need to pay upon booking. Please read our booking t&c's further down this page.
To book online, you need to obtain you unique booking pin from our main reception. You are then free to book and pay as much as want, whenever you want. Please note that all online bookings must be paid for at the time of booking.

Abs
Working all areas of the lower back and abdominal region, a superb body core workout in 30 minutes. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Body Blast (H.I.I.T.) *
A fun, motivating, full body workout. Consisting of a mixture of body weight exercises, and using weight equipment - to improve fitness levels, strengthen and tone. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Legs, Bums & Tums (H.I.I.T.)*
A fun and motivating class that strengthens and tones leg, glute and abdominal muscles. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Core
Designed to strengthen the lower back and abdominals working through a selection of exercises targeting these area’s. Suitable for all fitness levels.

We have a series of strength & cardio training classes that’ll help you improve your chosen discipline or just improve your overall fitness and agility.
Strength & Conditioning
This class is a group weights program that challenges every major muscle in your body. Using weights and music. This class will strengthen and tone your body in record time. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Boxforward
A technique class based on boxing moves incorporating an aerobic and upper body workout. Based around a circuit. Get fit without getting hit! Suitable for all fitness levels.
Circuit Training
A circuit training fitness class. The class will include upper and lower body toning integrated with advanced fat-burning techniques. This is a class tailored, suitable for all fitness levels.
Into-box
A fun, all-over body workout incorporating pad and glove work. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Early Morning Circuit
This is an intermediate class run by box-fit’s Dave Coard giving an all over body work out involving cardio, strength & core work. Suitable for intermediate fitness levels.
Circuit Training
A circuit training fitness class. The class will include upper and lower body toning integrated with advanced fat-burning techniques. This is a class tailored, suitable for all fitness levels.

Studio Cycling
A high intensity, cardiovascular bicycle workout - which will improve fitness levels, as well as tone and strengthen the lower body. It is a very motivating, and high energy class. Suitable for all fitness levels*

Pilates
This is a core strength/stability workout. Its main aims are to correct posture and breathing, and increase back and abdominal strength. Over 18’s only. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Yoga
This class works on strength and flexibility and helps you to improve and focus the alignment of your body. It can also develop the co-ordination of your breathing and movement as well as teaching you how to hold your posture and flow from one posture to another. Suitable for all fitness levels*

Mobility & Stretch
This is a class designed to increase mobility and flexibility throughout the body. A slow paced and relaxing class. Suitable for all fitness levels.

We have a number of classes and activities suitable for seniors and they just love the social, fun side of things, whilst at the same time keeping fit and healthy.
Our senior classes are free as part of being a lifelines member, or non gym members are also welcome on a pay as you go basis.
Mobility & Stretch
This is a class designed to increase mobility and flexibility throughout the body. A slow paced and relaxing class. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Senior Conditioning
A fun, social, low-impact full body conditioning class. It will help with maintaining strength of your joints, as well as mobility and flexibility. Suitable for all senior fitness levels.

general booking info
Most classes will provide you with equipment but we request you to bring a small towel (to clean up your sweat!) and some water to drink, as some of the classes are quite strenuous.
You may also want to provide your own boxing gloves and pads if you start attending Into-Box regularly.
For non-members, classes are available as pay as you go and will need to be booked 7 days in advance.
Members may pre-book classes up to 15 days in advance.
Cancellation of Classes
Isn’t it frustrating when you can’t get a place in your favourite class? Even more so when you find out that a space was available because someone booked but didn’t turn up, or cancelled at the very last minute! It may surprise you to learn that this happens at least a few times here every week.
Lifelines members
Lifelines members have the option to cancel a fitness class without charge, up to 15mins before the start of the class (so if the class starts at 5:00pm, you'll be able to cancel up until 4:45pm). Any cancellations or no shows after the 15min cut off will result in a £1.50 charge being applied to your account (unless your place is taken by somebody else).
Venue 360 members & Non-members
If you are a Venue 360 member or non-member, then 48hrs notice is required to avoid a late cancellation charge at full cost. No refunds will be offered or cancellation charge waived unless we manage to re-book your slot.
